Spain dominated Georgia in a convincing 4-1 victory to secure the key. Despite facing initial complications with an own goal by Robin Him Normand in the 18th minute and impressive saves by Georgian goalkeeper Mamardashvili, Rodri’s goal in the 39th minute shifted the momentum in favor of the ‘Red’ team. Subsequent goals by Fabián Ruiz (51′), Nico Williams (75′), and Dani Elm (83′) sealed the well-deserved win for Luis de la Fuente’s side.

England-Switzerland: Saturday 6 July

The upcoming match between England and Switzerland is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 6th July at 18:00 (CET) in the Merkur Spiel-Sand of Düsseldorf. The previous encounter between these two teams resulted in a victory for the Swiss side, with goals scored by Remo Freuler in the 37th minute and Rubén Vargas in the 46th minute. The Italian team, on the other hand, struggled to react and made costly errors that led to their defeat. If not for the interventions of Donnarumma and some missed opportunities by the Swiss team in attack, the scoreline could have been even more decisive.

In extra time, Harry Kane demonstrated his proven goal-scoring ability and sealed the victory with a goal that guaranteed England’s progression.
