Chelsea are out to defend their Champions League crown this season, and on Thursday the holders will find out who they will face off against in the group stages.

Thomas Tuchel’s mid-season arrival worked wonders for Roman Abramovich as Chelsea finished in the top four as well as winning the European Cup for the second time in the club’s history.

Chelsea saw off Premier League rivals Manchester City 1-0 in last season’s final, and will be aiming to join the select few clubs who have managed to retain the trophy – and the £97.5million arrival of Romelu Lukaku has sent a message that they will not relinquish it lightly.

With the Champions League group-stage draw set to be held this week, here are the potential opponents for Chelsea fans to watch out for in Pots 1-4…
