Not every football events in 2022 can be listed here, though we have tried to include all the big sporting events of the major sports, mostly the international competitions, that are known so far.
Major events for the 2022 calendar is the FIFA World Cup, Winter Olympics and the World Games, World Masters Games, South American Games, Summer Universiade, as well as the usual annual events. The second European Sports Championships will also be held.
