The People’s Republic of China has established itself as a leading contender in the realm of artistic swimming, entering the Paris 2024 Olympics as a strong favorite for both team and duet gold medals. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, they secured silver in both the team and duet events, and most recently, they achieved the world title in all three team disciplines at the Doha 2024 Championships.
In the past two years, the nation has significantly strengthened its position, and the nine athletes selected for their Olympic team bring a wealth of experience. They are poised to capture their first Olympic gold in this sport.
